School Uniforms
Kindergarten St. Mary of the Annunciation School uniform is designed to provide students with a sense of pride about themselves. Summer uniforms are worn during the months of September and October (until Columbus Day), May and June. Winter uniforms are worn during the months of December, January, February and March. All students are expected to report to school each day wearing the required uniform. There will be out-of-uniform days, which will be announced during the course of the year. On these days, clothing should be neat and appropriate for school.

Uniform Timeline
The basic dress uniform can be worn during the whole year. It is mandatory for special Masses and at school performances.

Uniform Guidelines
GIRLS K – 4
Regular uniform (Columbus Day – April 30)
During December, January, February and March, girls may wear navy pants with a polo shirt or blouse. A school sweater, vest or fleece is optional.
Warm weather uniform
(September – Columbus Day, May-June)
Gym uniform (all with St. Mary’s logo)
BOYS K – 4
Regular uniform (Columbus Day – April 30)

The following are a few other reminders:
- Extreme or trendy hairstyles are not permitted.
- Boys’ hair must be cut at or above the shirt collar.
- Earrings for girls are limited to stud or small hoops only; boys are not permitted to wear earrings in school.
- Other jewelry is limited to religious medals or crosses and watches.
- Hats are not allowed in the school building.

- Short/long sleeve white or yellow cotton blouse with Peter Pan collar
- Navy blue knee socks/tights
- Flat shoes (navy, black, brown leather uppers)
- Navy blue cardigan sweater (optional)

Warm weather uniform
(September – Columbus Day, May-June)
- Navy blue shorts or skort
- St. Mary’s polo shirt (blue or white)
- Sneakers (mostly white, grey or black) & either navy or white crew socks or navy knee socks or navy ankle socks & shoes
Gym uniform (all with St. Mary’s logo)
- Navy tee shirt (short or long sleeve)
- Navy sweat pants/shorts
- Navy sweatshirt
- Crew socks and sneakers (mostly white, grey or black)
BOYS K – 4
Regular uniform (Columbus Day – April 30)
